At Aventuras Childcare, we believe early childhood is a sacred adventure—one best experienced in a nurturing, joyful, and culturally rich environment. Rooted in faith and family, our Spanish immersion program in Eden Prairie is fully licensed by the State of Minnesota in Eden Prairie provides children with a strong foundation in both personal development and language learning, while cultivating values that last a lifetime.

Ms. Mayer-Lead Infants Teacher
Ms. Mayer is originally from Puerto Rico and proud grandmother who guides children with love, consistency, and faith. She’s passionate about helping bilingual families thrive and creating a classroom where every child feels safe and inspired to grow.
Ms. Mary-Lead Toddlers Teacher
Ms. Mary is originally from Cuba and brings warmth, creativity, and purpose to her role at Aventuras. With a background in teaching, and ministry she’s passionate about helping children grow in confidence and creating a nurturing space where they feel secure and inspired.
Ms. Mercedes — Lead Preschool Teacher
Ms. Mercedes is originally from Cuba and brings joy, curiosity, and a deep love for children to her role at Aventuras. With experience in educational technology and dual-language classrooms, she’s excited to return to the classroom full-time and create a space where every child feels encouraged, connected, and ready to grow.

Aventuras Childcare – Frequently asked questions
Aventuras Childcare is open year-round, Monday through Friday. Our Eden Prairie location operates from 6:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Please check with our management team for any updates to hours.
We observe the following holidays each year:
- New Year’s Day
- Martin Luther King Jr. Day
- Memorial Day
- Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Thanksgiving Day & the Friday after Thanksgiving
- Christmas Eve & Christmas Day
If a holiday falls on a weekend, we observe it on the nearest weekday. We also have two professional development days per year, plus occasional late openings for staff training, with dates shared in advance.
Tuition rates vary based on your child’s age group and schedule. We’d love to learn more about your family’s needs and share program details with you during a personalized tour. Please book a tour so we can provide the most accurate information and show you everything Aventuras has to offer.
Yes. Full-time schedules provide consistent care, while part-time options offer flexibility. Both include our full curriculum, social opportunities, and Spanish immersion.
Yes. We serve balanced breakfasts, hot lunches, and healthy snacks daily. Meals are prepared fresh in our on-site kitchen by staff trained in USDA nutrition guidelines and food safety. We follow all documented allergy and dietary restriction plans.
Yes. Families are welcome to send expressed breast milk or nurse onsite in our infant classroom. Detailed storage and handling guidelines are in our Family Handbook.
We encourage daily updates at drop-off and pick-up, and families can receive real-time messages and photos through the Lillio app. You may also call during the day to speak directly with your child’s teacher.
We’ll call you right away to share symptoms, pick-up instructions, and our return-to-care policy. These procedures help maintain a healthy environment for all children.
Yes. All children must be signed in and out daily using our secure system. This ensures accurate attendance for safety and emergency purposes.
We view behavior as communication. Our positive guidance approach builds self-control, empathy, and problem-solving skills while maintaining a safe, respectful classroom.
All our staff members are legal residents in the U.S. who have undergone thorough background checks and evaluations to be qualified to be a part of our program. It is also important to us that we provide quality care and peace of mind to all parents regardless of status; and so, we have policies for protecting privacy and custody of children in our care.
All of our teachers hold a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, a nationally recognized certification that reflects strong knowledge of early childhood development and a commitment to quality care. Many also bring college coursework or degrees in education or related fields, adding depth and perspective to their teaching. As native Spanish speakers, our educators naturally support language immersion, helping children build bilingual skills through everyday conversation, play, and connection.
